The Challenge: Shell and Core Office with Night Shift Only
The brief was simple but unforgiving: 1600m2 delivered as bare concrete, shell & core. 60 days to handover.
The client had to vacate their old office on a fixed date. There was no “we are one week late” option. If we were late, a 80-person company would have no office.
The plaza allowed construction only at night. So we slept when the offices were working, and we worked when the city was sleeping.
How We Delivered in 60 Days
This was not about interior design only. It was about process management with zero gaps.
1. 100% Complete Project Before Site Start. No details left for “we will decide on site”.
2. Early Procurement. In Istanbul, waiting for material means losing time.
3. Hourly Management, Not Weekly. We tracked the site hour by hour.
4. Direct Line with Plaza Management. No surprises with security and technical team.
5. Phase 2 While Operational. After handover, we added 400m2 more without stopping VIKING’s daily operations.
The 06:00 AM Moment
The moment we never forget was the last night. A big crew doing all the artificial landscape work overnight.
At 09:00 AM, VIKING staff started to arrive. We watched them taking selfies in front of the plants we placed 3 hours ago. That was the reward for 60 sleepless nights.
